Després de Swing When You’re Winning, editat l’any 2001, Robbie Williams torna aquest any a oferir un disc exclusivament de temes swing, que es publicarà el dia 18 de novembre, sota el títol de Swings both ways.
El disc, inclou un tema a duet amb Lily Allen, amb la que reinterpreta el clàssic Dream A little dream, que anteriorment han gravat, Ella Fitzgerald, The Mamas & The Papas, Doris Day i The Courteeners.
Altres artistes que també col·laboren al disc són, Rufus Wainwright, Kelly Clarkson, Olly Murs i Michael Buble.
A més a més de les versions, el disc també inclourà 6 nous temes creats pel propi Williams i pel seu habitual col·laborador Guy Chambers.
