El proper 7 de setembre s’entregarà el premi Mercury al millor disc britànic del 2023, entre els quals figura “The Car”, dels Arctic Monkeys. El grup suma una cinquena nominació i empata amb Radiohead. La banda d’Alex Turner el va guanyar el 2006 amb el seu debut.
Entre la resta de nominats trobem Young Fathers, Jessie Ware, Raye, Fred Again, J. Hus o Shygirl.
