El setè disc de Mastodon es dirà Emperor Of The Sand i es publicarà el 31 de març. Així ho ha fet saber la banda, que ha presentat una nova cançó anomenada Sultan’s Curse.
Mastodon presentarà el disc en directe al Resurrection Fest.
