Benjamin Clementine ha estat el vencedor del Mercury Prize, el guardó més important que s’entrega al Regne Unit i que premia el millor disc de l’any.
El cantant ha aconseguit vèncer, gràcies al seu debut At Least for Now, que s’ha imposat a In Colour de Jamie xx (el gran favorit), My Love is Cool de Wolf Alice o How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful de Florence + The Machine.
Anteriorment, els guardons han premiat a artistes com James Blake, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, Klaxons o Franz Ferdinand.
