La revista britànica NME, ha donat a conèixer els nominats dels NME Awards 2014, en la que destaquen noms com Arctic Monkeys, Haim, Arcade Fire o Queens of the stone age, i que tenen el nombre més gran de nominacions.
També hi trobem noms coneguts com Jake Bugg, Daft Punk, Lily Allen o The 1975 entre d’altres. Curiosament aquests últims, estan nominats a pitjor banda de l’any, al costat d’Imagine Dragons o One Direction.
Una de les categories estrella és la de heroi de l’any, així com la de malvat de l’any.
Els guanyadors es donaran a conèixer el dia 26 de febrer.
